Possible TCAT Routes Delays and Detours due to Green Street Construction
On Monday, October 13th, 2008, the City of Ithaca will begin a construction project on Green Street that is expected to last about a month. As a result of the construction, the following TCAT routes will experience delays and possible detours:
11, 12, 13, 15, 20, 21, 30, 31, 36, 37, 40, 41, 43, 51, 52, 53, 54, 65, and 67
The detours and delays will depend on the progress of the construction project. We will provide more details as the construction project progresses. We ask all TCAT passengers to be patient during this time.

Normal Service on Columbus Day
TCAT will operate regular service on Monday, October 13. There are NO service changes on Columbus Day.
TCAT Routes Detoured ...

TCAT Routes Detoured Due To Campus Road Closing
Tompkins Consolidated Area Transit, Inc. (TCAT) announces that starting Monday, October 6th, Cornell will be closing Campus Road between Hoy Road and East Avenue for an extended period of time.
The road closing is to allow the demolition of the Southside of Statler Hall. The project is estimated to last between 6-8 months. TCAT will implement this detour for all routes that use this section of Campus Road until completion of the project. The route detours are as follows:
Route 31: Tower Road to East Avenue, right on Campus Road, left onto College Avenue, Schwartz Performing Arts Center, use circle, right onto College Avenue, right on Campus Road, left on East Avenue (back on route)
Route 32: Campus Road, right onto Garden Avenue, left onto Tower Road, right onto East Avenue (back on route)
Route 81: Traveling to B-lot: East Avenue left onto Tower Road stop at Uris Hall (relocated Sage Hall Stop), continue on Tower Road. (Corson Mudd will be the relocated stop for Teagle).
Traveling to A-Lot: Tower Road to Kennedy Hall (relocated stop for Barton) Continue on Tower Road stop across the street from Uris (relocated Statler Hall stop).
Route 82: Traveling to Boyce Thompson Institute East Avenue left onto Tower Road stop at Uris Hall (relocated Sage Hall Stop), continue on Tower Road. (Corson Mudd will be relocated stop for Teagle)
Route 83: Campus Road, left onto East Avenue, (Statler Hall bus stop will be relocated stop for Teagle Hall and across the street from Uris Hall.)
Route 85: Campus Road, left onto East Avenue, right on to Tower Road (back on route).

Clinton Street Detour: ...

Clinton Street Detour: Clinton Street is closed from Cayuga Street to Corn Street. The Rt. 67 is detouring using Seneca Street to Fulton Street outbound; inbound, the Rt. 67 is using Green Street to get to the Green @ Commons stop. The Rt. 15 is using Cayuga Street to North Titus Street to Plain Street, in both directions. This detour is in effect until through early October.
