Most people figure that they can save a few dollars by taking public transportation instead of driving in their car. But it can be hard to convince yourself to try something new when the benefit doesn't seem real. Exactly how much will you save? Enough for a gallon of milk? A tank or two of gas? Purchase a monthly pass for $45 and enjoy an average daily commute price of $2.00. Otherwise, you still enjoy the low price of a $3.00 round trip in cash fare.
