How do you get to medical appointments, work, school and social activities?

Join your neighbors on October 11 to share ideas about improving access to transportation services in the region.   Fernando de Aragón, Executive Director of the Ithaca-Tompkins County Transportation Council, and project manager for the Regional Transportation Study (RTS), announced that a Regional Town Hall Meeting will be conducted in Tompkins County and broadcast to five additional sites in the region, providing convenient access for residents of each county in the study area.  Access will also be available online.  "We are interested in gathering input from residents in the seven-county study area and sharing ideas about improving travel in the region," said de Aragón.  

Members of the public can attend in person at any of the designated locations where local staff, known as Mobility Managers, will be on hand to accept questions, take comments and facilitate the meeting.  Participants have the choice of two meeting times: 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM. at each of the locations listed below. 2:00-4:00 PM - Cornell Cooperative Extension, Room A, 615 Willow Ave., Ithaca

6:00-8:00 PM - GIAC, (GIAC Gym), 301 W. Court St., Ithaca

· Tioga location: Health and Human Services Building, Tioga County, 1062 Route 38, Owego

· Cortland location: SUNY Cortland, Beard Bldg., 9 Main Street, Cortland

· Chemung location: Chamber of Commerce Offices, 400 E. Church Street, Elmira

· Cayuga locations:

2:00-4:00 PM - Cayuga County Office Building, Legislative Chambers, 6th floor, 160 Genesee Street, Auburn

6:00-8:00 PM - BOCES, Distance Learning Room, 1879 West Genesee Street Road, Auburn

· Seneca location: Seneca County Office Building, Board of Supervisor's Room, 1 DiPronio Dr., Waterloo

· Schuyler location: Arc of Schuyler, 210 12th  Street, Watkins Glen
