How To Apply

Interested in joining the TCAT team?

Are you thinking of applying for one of our open positions? Before you scroll down to see how to apply, we’d like to provide some information on our recruitment process. It is comprised of four (4) steps.

Step 1 – Application Submittal

TCAT posts all job openings for 2-3 weeks on the Careers page, it is important to note that we only accept applications for current open positions. Once the posting period is closed, the posting will be removed from the TCAT website and we will no longer accept applications. HR reviews all of the applications at the end of the posting period to determine qualification for the position. Please be patient as this process can take a little time given the volume of applications received.

Please Note: It is essential that you specify the position for which you are applying so that your application can be properly tracked.

Step 2 – The interview

TCAT will contact those candidates qualified for the position for an interview. The interview is a team interview. The participants of the team interview include members of various departments and the candidate. It gives us a chance to cover a variety of information about the position, the department, the benefits and the recruitment process.

Step 3 – Background check/reference check

Background checks are required for all of our positions and are done by a third party vendor. They check for criminal record, employment history, and driving record. All safety sensitive positions require a valid Driver’s License.

Step 4 – Safety Sensitive positions

The safety-sensitive candidate should understand that passing the pre-employment drug screen is a part of the recruitment process. In the event the candidate does not successfully pass the pre-employment drug screen, the candidate cannot be considered for employment.

For those positions requiring a Commercial Driver License (CDL) and a contingent offer of employment is made, a physical exam is required. The offer of employment will be revoked if the candidate cannot pass the physical exam as the candidate would not be qualified for the position.
If the candidate should have any questions concerning pre-employment testing, all inquiries should be forwarded to the Human Resources Department. All information regarding drug screen results and/or physical examinations will be kept strictly confidential to the greatest extent possible.

Now that you know the recruitment process, are you wondering how you can apply?
